Not only is this poor guy up there in years, he’s an extremely old soul. He actually has that thousand yard stare that’s brought in by excessive trauma. He seems so gentle and really really chill. I hope he’s still living a canine version of The Golden Girls, and living out his senior years in comfort.
If, after contacting the dog’s owner via the microchip info, the owner said he doesn’t want him back, I’d be willing to be that the owner deliberately abandoned the poor dog. Shame on such an owner! If you don’t want to judge him, fine, but I will.
