In this episode, Victoria helps a family who owns a English Bulldog named Bailey. Bailey exhibits out-of-control behavior, constantly marking territory inside and outside the house. Despite the family’s efforts to control his behavior, they are unsuccessful.
Victoria suggests that Bailey should attend daycare where he can improve his social skills. At first, Bailey is reluctant to play and interact with other dogs, but he gradually gains confidence.
Working together with the family to establish rules and routines at home, Victoria introduces boundaries and teaches Bailey how to manage his behavior. Eventually, Bailey understands and starts to obey the boundaries.
In the end, Victoria develops a strong bond with Bailey’s owner, and Bailey realizes that he needs to obey in order to maintain that bond. The dog accepts that the family is in control and that they hold the leadership role. Being more manageable both outdoors and indoors brings great relief to Bailey’s owner and family.
