So let me get this straight the previous owner not only overfed him to the point to where he can barley walk. But then dumped him on the streets in Arizona in summer!? That pisses me off so much.
As a veterinary professional, this is horrifying. I don’t understand how it gets to this point. I don’t understand how people can have an animal and think this is remotely “okay”. The immense pain and discomfort he must have been in is just so heartbreaking to think about. I am beyond relieved that he is in a safe home with awesome new owners. Thank you for what you’ve done for him. Keep up the great work!
His old owners aught to be ashamed i feel confident in even concluding his diet was scrap and human food! Good job wolfgang and family for the rescue and recovery such a happy beautiful boy
We have a dog named Prince, and he’s a Lab, and he does NOT like moving lol The only time he ever moved was when he was getting up to eat, getting up to go to the bathroom, or just turning in his bed. So, when we found out that he was 20 pounds overweight, we weren’t all that surprised. We couldn’t get him to go on walks all that much because he’s stubborn. So as a last resort, we got a puppy. And man did that puppy keep him on his feet
He was like his own little weight loss trainer, and now, he LOVES taking walks and going outside, because he slowly built up the stamina to play with the puppy. It’s like he woke up his inner kid again.
